Vector Pipeline

TThe 348-mile, 42-inch Vector Pipeline transports approximately 1.3 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of natural gas from Joliet, Illinois, in the Chicago area to parts of Indiana and Michigan and into Ontario, Canada. The pipeline is a key link in the supply and transportation of economical natural gas from the United States and Western Canada to growing markets in the Midwest, eastern Canada and the northeastern United States. Vector provides a competitive transportation alternative for natural gas distributors, producers, marketers, storage providers, end-users and power plants. The system has multiple interconnects with various parties, enhancing delivery options to meet the energy supply needs of this region and beyond.
